Holly Elgeti Style Mummy and Me Fashion

Hello, I’m Holly, the Founder of Carob and mother to two little ones. Before my journey into motherhood and move to Dubai, I spent over a decade immersed in the fashion industry. It all began with a degree in Fashion & Textiles, followed by an internship in the design department at Alexander McQueen. My journey then evolved into becoming Junior Fashion and Beauty Editor at 1883 Magazine in London.

The most substantial chapter of my career, however, unfolded when I ventured into freelancing as a Stylist. It was an amazing chapter of life, where I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with some of the UK’s most inspirational women, building a client list that included Perrie Edwards, Elizabeth Day and Katherine Jenkins. My work often earned recognition in titles such as Vogue, Elle, STYLIST, and The Daily Mail, with acknowledgements for best-dressed accolades.

Throughout my career, I discovered that, above all, women crave pieces that are effortlessly stylish, comfortable, and easy to slip into. It’s as simple as that - an uncomplicated go-to style that allows for personal expression through accessorising.

Amidst the whirlwind of moving overseas and the adventure into motherhood, the days of dressing up with clients felt like a distant memory. That’s when I realised I wanted to channel my passion for design and styling into celebrating the magic of motherhood, aiming to make women feel effortlessly great whether they’re pre-pregnancy, pregnant, post-partum, or well into the motherhood journey. Carob is all about embracing the beautiful connection between mothers and their little ones, finding joy in dressing up together through easy-to-slip into styles.

We are at the very beginning of this exciting journey, starting with two gorgeous dresses: the Annie Dress, a tribute to my sister, and the Francesca Dress, in honour of my dearest Friend.
